Guillotines with pressure beam and specially designed sturdy structure demanded by the power and the speedy required when cross-cutting veneer packs.

"C" structure, open on the front side, permitting to insert the veneer pack also from the front side. Wide view of the cutting area. The pressure beam, driven by pneumatic cylinder, will move down automatically to clamp the veneer pack before the knife downward movement. Automatically, after the cutting, it will move upward. A red coloured laser is marking the cutting line (optional). On request, different length working tables with scale rules can be supplied.

Structure:
welded steel made, highly ribbed to ensure best stiffness. An originalk device with levers and slides, driving the working movement of the knife beam, assures accurate straightness of the cutting line.

Pressure beam:
The machine includes a pressue beam with torsion bar.

Cut:
It cuts with a shearing action (motion with tangential component from one side to another)

Control panel:
the machine is equipped with a control panel, mounted on the front side of the lower frame.
It includes the two-hands control for the working movement of the clamping beam and the knife beam.

Working cycle:
it is automatic. By pressing contemporaneously two push-buttons on the control panel, you have in sequence the coming down of the pressure beam, the cutting, the coming up of the pressure beam.

Electrical equipment:
the electrical system, both on the machine and in the box, is complying with IEC Standards and CEI safety rules.

Hydraulic system:
it includes a tank with pump motor of 4.1 kW, pressure relief valve, distribution solenoid valves. A check valve stops the accidental down stroke of the knife beam.

Lubrication:
central system of lubrication. By pulling up the lever of the oil is pushed to all the point in the machine requiring lubrication.

Safety and work environment:
safety photocells stop the working cycle, when their ray is interrupted, and control the back movement to the upper start point of pressing beam and knife beam.

Two hands control.
Anti-repeat devices.
A check valve prevents the down stroke of the knife beam also in case of accidental breaking of the oil pipe. The noice measurement is 70dB

The machine is manufacured accordingly with EC safety rule

Knife:
it is made with special steel, entirely hardened.

This machine may be connected to our longitudinal guillotines in "L" shape
