The Casati Z2000 is a heavy duty zig zag stitcher that joins veneer sheets by means of thermoadhesive glue thread placed along the joining line. The thread is heated by electric resistance then zigzaged to join 2 pieces of veneer prior to pressing.

The machine has a rigid welded steel structure and all main functions are operated on the control panel (electronic adjustment of the temperature, stepless change of oscillation angular speed of heating device, pushbutton for manual breaking of the thread).
The motor start is automatic, when the operator inserts the veneer sheets to be joined.
Automatic breaking of the thread when new veneer sheets are inserted.
Stepless change of feeding speed from 10 m/min. to approx. 40 m/min. adjusted by a handwheel on the base of the machine.
Foot switch allows emergency stops

- electronic digital read-out for an accurate monitoring of the heating temperature
- knob of the motor speed control for the stepless adjustment of feed speed
- knob of the motor speed electronic control for the stepless adjustment of
oscillation angular speed of the heating arm independent of the linear feeding speed (zig- zag pitch)
- glue thread heater by electric resistance
- electronic adjustment of the heating temperature of the thread with accuracy ± 1 degreesC
- electronic unit with stored control program
- separating fence with pressure wing that is operated by electric hold-down device with solenoid (four pressure stages)
- holder of the glue-thread spool with protective box
- feeding discs with compensation device for different thicknesses of the veneer sheets
- the feeding device is maintenance free thanks to self lubricating components
- accurate adjustment of the start point and stop point by means of one brush-switch. The motor-start is automatic, when the operator inserts the
veneer sheets to be joined.
- a blade driven by a pneumatic device cuts the thread when new veneer sheets are inserted, or the operator pushes the button on the control panel
- rollers (upper and lower roller) push the joined sheets out.
- accurate adjustment of the feeding friction pressure thanks to accurate pressure adjustment device
- zig-zag pitch and height adjustment
- pedal for emergency stop
- adjustment of the compressed air pressure thanks to an integrated unit for air treatment
- complete with air pressure regulator, filter and lubricator
- 1pc spool of thermoadhesive glue thread, 1 pc pliers, 1 pc set of 20 needles, 0,5 liters of antiadhesive liquid
