Universal for a Reason - The Copenstick UNI 90 Degree Universal Router has been designed to meet the demand for utility in the workplace and built specifically with versatility in mind, fitted with a HSK32 Quick-change high speed spindle motor allowing for tooling to bet set in HSK32 tool holders for quick displacement and coupled to a variable frequency device propels the UNI into a class of its own.

UNI can be used as a simple spindle moulder with the convenience of a tenon carriage as standard, it can also be fitted with a power feed unit adding control of feed rates and additional operator safety, the main fence can be set at varying positions when utilising the two 4 position turret stops fitted in-front and behind the main fence guide, this enhances the use of the HSK32 Quick-change tooling being able to set a tool to a fence position for repeat operations.

Versatility however comes into its own when we look further into its construction, the machine has been built with the ability to tilt the spindle motor from 0 degrees - 90 degreesDegs. The Z axis has been fitted with a pneumatic cylinder to lift the spindle motor on-demand via a foot control, the cylinder can raise the spindle vertically by 100mm allowing the UNI to be used as a notching/dovetailing machine, a manual clamping device is fitted to the main fence to securely hold the workpiece in place before making the cut.
