The Copenstick UNI-H has been designed using the same frame and layout of the UNI-V but,. there is something different going on in the backend of this machine, still fitted with a HSK32 Quick-change high speed spindle motor and using the same HSK32 tool holders for quick that displacement we all desire and still coupled to a variable frequency device, something else propels the UNI-H into another dimension though.

The UNI H can again be used as a simple spindle moulder with all of the same features as that of the UNI-V, however we are able on this version of the UNI to move the spindle on the Y axis making it possible to plunge-cut, bore and cross-mill.

The Y axis has been fitted with a pneumatic cylinder to plunge the spindle motor on-demand via a foot control, the cylinder can move the spindle horizontally by 50mm allowing the UNI-H to be used as a horizontal boring machine, as with most of the Copenstick range a manual clamping device is fitted to the main fence to securely hold the workpiece in place before making the cut.

Cross-milling is also capable by moving the spindle into the vertical postion, this will then enable the foot control to move the tool across the machine bed by 50mm, this feature when combined with the horizontal boring is exceptionally useful when fitting external glazing bars to a bevel moulding.

Supplied with Castors, either a Fence Cam Clamp or Tenon Table with Cam Clamp and Torque Spanner.
