This applicator is supplied complete with gun and trolley. It delivers a controlled measured amount of adhesive - wide range of special nozzles and fittings available.. The benefit of this is to exclude surplus glue or not enough glue on joints and is especially suitable for glueing of dowel holes and joinery joints (mortises tenons etc) 0165 is supplied with one straight gripped gun - It consists of a tank and cover in stainless steel with four closing hooks according to CE regulations, of a 4 meters long hose and of a gun with anatomic grip, of a trolley with a shelf under which a timer is fixed. The tank capacity is 12kg regulator for glue output included on gun. It can be equipped with a wide range of nozzles for measured dosage of glue. Unlike the traditional glue feeders this equipment has a double adjustment: - glue flow, acting on the ring positioned on the back of the gun - extrusion time through a timer. Unscrewing the knob the extrusion time decreases, screwing the knob the extrusion time increases (picture 1 and 2). For this reason the equipment must always be connected to the air net (min. 6/max. 8 bar). Useful information: Fields of application: it is ideal for small and medium series, for both panel and solid timber processing, where it is necessary to keep a constant amount of glue delivery and where micro regulations are requested. Dowels, chair slots, tenons (open slots) and slots for door/window frames and shutters. Glue features: use PVA glues only, viscosity between 6000 and 12000 mPa s, working temperature 20 degrees C/65 degrees F. Cleaning: after daily use remove possible glue residues by washing the nozzle with cold water using the provided 0044 tap fitting and leaving it completely immersed in the water of the container on the side of the feeder. This operation is necessary to avoid the obstruction of the nozzle holes caused by the drying of the glue. Advantages: fast and practical gluing reducing the time of the working process, remarkable glue-saving and quality improvement as well as a better bond of the glued part. The system under constant pressure is always ready for use. As the application takes place through an air-product mixture, this system must be at all times connected to the air network for correct operation. All nozzles and air cap are interchangeable, easy and fast to fasten onto the head of the spray gun. Range of applications PVA for veneer, laminate, timber, panels, postforming and similar on flat and shaped panels, flat or round and arched surfaces. In carpentry and woodworking, they are ideal for applying glue on large surfaces, being the perfect alternative to manual glue spreaders. Arcing the gun causes uneven painting. Thermosetting single-component polyurethane adhesives which are the solution for the finishing of shaped panels with thermoplastic decors using membrane presses. Depending on the product to be applied, they are suitable for gluing different materials, metal, rubber, foam, upholstery components, plastic materials in general on wood or between them. For cardboard and leather and for this reason, they are widely used in various fields, such as leather, footwear, rubber, ABS, leather, iron, plastic laminates and more. Glue specifications Use only and exclusively low-medium viscosity adhesives, those which, according to each individual glue and adhesive manufacturer, can be easily sprayed with a spray gun, in relation to their specific product characteristics. 9060/70 Automatic Applicator The Pizzi 9060 & 9070 series gluing machines are the most technically advanced fully automatic systems for applying PVA glue to frame and panel doors, or other wooden parts where accurate and repeatable amounts of glue need to be applied on a production level. Pizzi offers two series, the 9060 series that applies a bead of glue, and the 9070 series that sprays PVA glue. In addition, models 9061 & 9071 apply a spot of glue in the groove of a door rail.
