P & J 375 Fine Dust Extraction Unit 7.5hp
Designed for the extraction of fine dust particles. Typical applications include processes such as sanding, grinding, fettling, routing, polishing, powder handling, sawing, shot-blasting or in areas of dispensing, packaging, mixing, sieving and weighing - varied dry dust applications for all areas of industrial processing
- Powerful - able to serve multiple point extraction simultaneously
- Unit benefits from automated filter cleaning on shut off which ensures and prolongs filter life aiding effective filtration with no manual intervention depositing waste to bin/s and renewing performance on restart
- Compact footprint with the advantage of a sealed steel waste bin/s, (lined with removable waste collection bag/s) making it ideal for locations requiring restricted access to the waste for security or health reasons. Suitable for smaller centralised multi systems
- Additional safety feature of an ATEX rated flameless explosion vent panel for KST1 & KST2 combustible dusts with fan motor being ATEX rated for DSEAR zone 22 use
- An integral face mounted viewable filter gauge ensures the user can see that your extraction unit is working effectively to protect you from the hazardous substances controlled, enabling you to maintain the filter in good condition and advising when it needs to be cleaned or replaced.
Filters are high quality anti-static media to minimise risk of static spark ignition and a super-glaze coating to provide an extra smooth surface offering unsurpassed particle collection efficiency with superior dust release and good air permeability for improved long-term performance. Other filter media available for specialist applications
- The side mounted shaker and duct connection inlet are universal for left- or right-hand side mounting, these can be switched on site
Can be electrically interlocked to the equipment served (specify interlock starter when ordering).
PERFORMANCE
Designed to give a maximum airflow of 6150 m?/hr at the inlet, before allowing for the resistance of the ducting, please consult the fan curve to identify the
predicted airflow at the resistance pressure loss for your system duct layout.
NOISE LEVEL
Typically 75.83 dB(A) measured at 2 metres for average acoustic conditions
INLET
454mm x 206mm. As standard supplied with a 300mm¥ transition piece, other inlet sizes available on request. Unit can be assembled with inlet on the
right (standard), left or rear of the unit, this is adjustable on site.
ELECTRICAL DATA
The following are typical values and may vary slightly from those displayed on the motor plate. Where different use the motor values in place of those
listed. The breaker size given is an estimate, the electrician should calculate the correct size for your installation based on the FLC, SLC, cable size and
length.
Continuously rated totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) electric motor fitted with sealed for life bearings 7.5 kW 400 volts efficiency rating IE3.
ATEX rated for zone 22.
Full load current 13.8 amps. Starting Amps DOL 131.195 amps for 10 seconds, typical overload setting 13.8 amps.
MOTOR CONTROL GEAR
DOL Fan Starter with Auto Shake Cleaning Timer - IP55 Enclosure - Supplied loose for remote mounting in non-hazardous area.
Supply voltage required - 400 volts. AC 3 & earth via - MCB3 P - 35A-Curve C (C 35/3)
A starter suitable for interlocking is available as an option which must be specified on the order; in which case the supply may require a neutral connection to the starter panel and a 400 volt control circuit. Please contact us to discuss if this is required.
SHAKER MOTOR
1 x 0.12 kW - 400 volts full load current 0.58 amps. Starting amps DOL 1.566 amps for 5 seconds.
As standard the shaker motor housing is manufactured on the left hand side of the body, but can be moved to the right hand side on site.
FAN TYPE
Centrifugal, Backward Inclined, Direct Drive.
FILTERS
1 filter giving a total filtration area of 33.75 m²
Filter media for specialist applications available on request, the standard filter media on this unit is polyester needlefelt superglaze finish. Which has excellent tensile strength and abrasion resistance, fair acid and alkali resistance. Superglaze finish provides an extra smooth surface offering superior dust release whilst maintaining good air permeability equivalent to a singe finish, for fine dust applications and improved particle collection efficiency.Temperatures up to 150 degreesC, maximum surge 170 degreesC. Typical Applications for this filter media: Aluminium, Asbestos, Cement, Ceramics, Flour, Foundries, Grain, Lead, Mining, Plaster, Pharmaceuticals, Steel and Wood.
FILTER PRESSURE INDICATOR
Enabling you to comply with HSE best practice recommendations the factory fitted differential pressure gauge continually monitors the filter performance and alerts when filter efficiency is compromised, identifying filter defects such as blockage or damage and indicating when filter requires replacement.
FILTER CLEANING
Auto Shake filter cleaning mechanism fitted. Operates at fan shut down; controlled by the combined controller/starter thus ensuring optimum filter cleaning whilst eliminating manual intervention and prolonging filter life. The maximum recommended interval between cleaning cycles is 4 hours of continuous operation.
CONSTRUCTION
Unit constructed from high quality, cold rolled, low carbon steel manufactured to BS EN 10130:2006 and finished in grey, tarnish resistant, durable hammer paint.
WASTE COLLECTION
1 x Sealed bin(s) made from high quality, cold rolled, low carbon steel plate manufactured to BS EN 10130:2006, fitted with pressure equalising balancer and lined with extraction bag(s) [heavy duty polythene] approximate total waste collection volume of 170 litres.
