The Panhans 336 | 20 630 mm wide surface planing machines are characterised by powered, planed cast iron tables with the latest control system for perfect jointing, adjustable for flatness or bow. They are extremely quiet running, in addition to their compact and robust construction dynamically balanced knife shaft which can be supplied with spiral helical cutter block, Tersa or traditional 3mm knives.

This is a superb workhorse of a machine designed to stand the test of time and a busy workshop. The fence is mounted with a quick realease making it a dream to use - it can be adjusted easily and features an integrated auxiliary fence to enable easy planing of thin and narrow strips. The optional SUVAmatic guard is a recommended extra and invaluable in use. The 5.5kW motor with its soft start is electronically braked and has been designed for full industrial use. This heavy weight machine has a low friction planed table surface that helps the passage of wood, and makes a perfect companion to the 436 Thicknesser. The Panhans surfacer would be an asset in any woodworking or joinery shop where quality is paramount.
