The KR KUVM 2L addresses one of the most persistent problems in MDF and panel finishing: edge porosity. The soft fibre structure of MDF edges absorbs excess paint, resulting in damaged surfaces, inconsistent quality, and inflated material costs. This machine resolves that by combining pre-sanding, UV coating, and post-sanding in a single, continuous process. Adjustable angle rollers allow UV coating to be applied consistently across straight, radius, and chamfered edges — a capability that distinguishes the KR KUVM 2L from fixed-geometry coaters. Coating weight is applied at 40–80 g/m², immediately cured by UV, and then refined by a second sanding pass. The machine operates at line speeds of 15–20 m/min, with a two-stage, two-unit configuration that accommodates a second coat where paint or varnish characteristics demand it. Edges exit the machine ready for painting in approximately 2–3 minutes. Five belt sanding units with automatically adjustable positions and speeds ensure consistent surface preparation across varying panel types and thicknesses. The pre-sanding stage works in the P180–P220 range, compressing the edge fibre before coating is applied. IoT data logging records machine status, fault history, operator activity, and production volumes in real time. Reports can be filtered by parameter, and configurable alarms allow supervisors to monitor production without direct intervention. Remote technical support is delivered via the Vsight Remote application, enabling voice and video connection between the operator and KAMA's technical team using a smartphone, tablet, or smart glasses — reducing downtime from faults to a matter of seconds. Applications: UV filling of panel edges, UV primer application, edge sanding, MDF edge preparation, chipboard edge coating, pre-paint edge finishing Key Features: — Adjustable angle rollers — Enables consistent UV coating across straight, radius, and chamfered edge profiles without retooling — Two-stage, two-unit coating configuration — Applies two layers of paint or varnish in a single pass, reducing primer consumption where a second coat is required — UV instant curing — Coating dries immediately after application, eliminating drying time and allowing the process to continue without interruption — Line speed of 15–20 m/min — Edges are ready for painting in approximately 2–3 minutes, supporting high-throughput production schedules — Five belt sanding units with auto-adjustable position and speed — Delivers consistent surface quality across varying panel types without manual intervention between jobs — Pre-sanding in the P180–P220 range — Compresses soft MDF edge fibres before coating, reducing paint absorption and the risk of surface cracking — Coating application at 40–80 g/m² — Controlled coat weight minimises paint consumption whilst ensuring adequate edge sealing — Edge porosity management — Sealing the MDF edge before topcoat application reduces over-absorption, cutting material waste and rework — IoT real-time data logging — Records machine status, fault events, operator activity, and production volumes continuously for traceability and process control — Configurable alarm system — Allows supervisors to set threshold-based alerts and monitor production status without continuous manual oversight — Filtered reporting by parameter — Enables targeted analysis of production data, fault patterns, and operator performance across defined time periods — Vsight Remote application integration — Connects the machine operator directly to KAMA's technical team via video call, voice, and live annotation — reducing fault resolution time to secondsLead Time: 60 Days£ Enquire -
The KR PM 10 is a fully automatic profile sanding machine engineered for continuous production sanding of door casings, architraves, baseboards, and primed or raw profiles of virtually any section. Seven independently controlled sanding stations — each PLC-managed with adjustable press force, start and finish points — ensure consistent, repeatable results across varying profile geometries without manual intervention between passes. Each sanding head activates only when the workpiece reaches that station, eliminating unnecessary abrasive contact and extending consumable life. The combination of oscillatory orbital sanders, rectangular vibration sanding for rebates, cylindrical brush units, and mop sanders allows the machine to address flat faces, curved edges, rebated sections, and splined profiles within a single pass. All operating parameters — conveyor speed, aggregate positions, orbital unit settings — are managed from a 10-inch touchscreen control panel. The machine accepts profiles from 60 mm to 250 mm wide and 6 mm to 100 mm in height, with no upper limit on workpiece length, making it suitable for both standard and bespoke moulding runs. Maximum feed speed is 15 m/min at a compressed air supply of 6–8 bar. Applications: door casing sanding, architrave sanding, baseboard sanding, profile sanding, primed profile finishing, raw timber profile sanding Key Features: — Seven-station sanding configuration — handles flat faces, profile edges, rebates, splined sections, and cylindrical brush finishing in a single automated pass — 2 oscillatory orbital sanders for profile edges — PLC-controlled with adjustable press force and start/finish points for consistent edge finishing across varying profiles — 1 oscillatory orbital sander for top surface — independently controlled with adjustable press force, ensuring uniform face sanding without operator input — Rectangular vibration sander for rebates — sands door frame rebates with adjustable press force, distance, and height — no oscillation to suit flat rebate geometry — 2 oscillatory cylindrical brush sander units — height, revolution speed, and distance are all adjustable, accommodating different profile depths and surface conditions — 2 cylindrical brush sanders for edges — designed to sand both flat and rounded profile edges with adjustable revolution, distance, and angle — 2 mop sanders — purpose-suited to splined profiles where conventional abrasive contact is impractical — Station-triggered head activation — each sanding unit engages only on workpiece detection, reducing abrasive wear and preventing surface damage on gaps between workpieces — 10-inch touchscreen control panel — centralised adjustment of conveyor speed, orbital unit settings, and aggregate positions without mechanical intervention — Feed speed up to 15 m/min — supports high-throughput production sanding with consistent finish quality — Product width range 60–250 mm, height range 6–100 mm — accommodates a broad range of standard and bespoke moulding sections without tooling changes — Unlimited maximum product length — continuous lengths, stave-glued sections, or long runs pass through without restriction — 7 dedicated dust extraction inlets (6 × 90 mm and 1 × 200 mm) — extraction positioned at each sanding station; requires 7,700 m³/hr airflow at 30 seconds for effective dust management — Total electrical demand of 9.6 kW — relatively modest power requirement for a seven-station automated line, aiding installation in standard three-phase workshop suppliesLead Time: 60 Days£ Enquire -
This is just one of the most popular configuration sanding machine for window components, cutting the surface fibres to give you a better painted finish, faster. With 8 working units (two left vertical brushes, two right vertical brushes, one sanding disc top, one sanding disc lower, one finishing brush top and 1 finishing brush lower. The FIBERTECH-S finishing line has been designed for sanding individual pieces: beads, window frames or doors, square structures of all types; unfinished products, veneered or painted items. FIBERTECH-S thanks to the innovative and patented system of cross-cutting via rotary discs of the product fibres, ensures a perfect cut of the same, a result impossible to obtain with traditional systems. This system prevents lifting after the application of waterbased primers or other wood preservatives, almost always avoiding the intermediate sanding normally required with traditional sanding systems, thus resulting in significant time-saving and above all preventing the removal of an important part of the previously applied finish. In practice this means important labour saving of many manual processes, greater safety at work and above all longer life of the product with no, or at least insignificant, removal of the previously applied protective materials. The FIBERTECH-S line has been designed in a modular manner in order to allow the machine to be composed with the number and type of operating groups most suited to the needs of each customerLead Time: 46 Days£ Enquire -
