The Omec F10 is a dedicated automatic milling machine designed specifically for the production of finger joints and comb joints — making it the right choice for manufacturers producing drawers, wine boxes, cigar boxes, beehives, and similar parallel-slotted timber components. Pieces are processed in pack formation, allowing multiple workpieces to be machined simultaneously in a single automatic cycle. Clamping and release is managed via a manually operated pneumatic cylinder, whilst feed movement is controlled hydraulically from the machine panel. The F10 accepts interchangeable milling cutter kits, enabling different slot profiles and dimensions to be produced from the same machine as production requirements change.
