The Casati Linea 1000 is a dedicated veneer edge-joining machine that integrates glue application and curing into a single continuous process. Veneer strips are fed longitudinally, glue is applied to their edges, and the bonded assembly passes immediately through a 1000 mm heated zone where the adhesive is activated and cured — eliminating any secondary pressing stage. The machine accepts veneer thicknesses from 0.4 mm to 1.5 mm, with strips from 45 mm wide and a minimum length of 350 mm. Pre-glued veneer sheets up to approximately 2.5 mm thick can also be processed. Feed speed is variable between 10 and 30 m/min, with heating temperatures reaching up to 230 °C. Adjustment of feed speed, infeed pressure, chain pressure, heating bar pressure, and temperature is carried out from a centralised control panel with dedicated keypads for the electronic temperature controllers. A guide blade with pressure wing maintains strip alignment, whilst feeding discs with a compensation device accommodate varying veneer thicknesses. Motor start is automatic upon insertion of the veneer, with precise start and stop point control via a brush-switch. The feeding mechanism uses self-lubricating components throughout, removing the need for routine lubrication maintenance. The machine is supplied with service tools, a maintenance book, and EC declaration of conformity. Applications: longitudinal veneer splicing, veneer edge joining, pre-glued veneer bonding Key Features: — Integrated gluing and curing in a single pass — eliminates secondary pressing operations, reducing handling and cycle time — 1000 mm heated zone — ensures consistent glue activation and bond strength along the full splice length — Variable feed speed: 10–30 m/min — allows the operator to match throughput to veneer species, thickness, and glue type — Heating temperature up to 230 °C — compatible with both urea and urea/PVA adhesive systems across the full veneer thickness range — Veneer thickness range: 0.4–1.5 mm (2.5 mm with pre-glued sheets) — covers standard face veneers and accommodates pre-glued stock without machine changeover — Minimum strip width 45 mm, minimum length 350 mm — defines the practical lower limits for strip geometry, supporting narrow inlay and border work — Feeding discs with thickness compensation device — maintains consistent feed pressure and alignment across varying veneer thicknesses — Guide blade with pressure wing — keeps strip edges in precise contact during glue application and entry into the heated zone — Centralised control panel with dedicated temperature keypads — gives the operator direct, independent control over all critical process parameters from a single position — Brush-switch start/stop point adjustment — provides accurate, repeatable control over the gluing zone, reducing glue waste and strip mis-registration — Automatic motor start on veneer insertion — reduces operator input and supports consistent cycle initiation without manual intervention — Self-lubricating feeding components — removes routine lubrication from the maintenance schedule, reducing downtime — Total connected load 3.33 kW, air consumption 5 Nl/min at 6–8 bar — modest utility requirements suited to standard workshop compressed air and single-phase or light three-phase supplies — Supplied with service tools, maintenance book, and EC declaration of conformity — machine is ready for immediate compliant operation with full documentation from deliveryLead Time: 84 Days£ Enquire -
