Band Resaws
(13 Products)Band Resaws are designed for efficient high speed cutting with low waste, and high timber recovery rates due to the thin cutting kerf. We offer a range of new resaws and small sawmills manufactured by Centauro, Forestor, itech & Stenner as well as a good range of secondhand resaws
Please also see our new table saw range if you are looking for more conventional saws

The Centauro Supercut 80 is a heavy-duty bandsaw designed specifically for precision ripping and thin-cutting applications, where cut quality and dimensional consistency are critical. Its RTT motorised belt-feed system maintains even, controlled material feed, enabling repeatable cuts down to approximately 3 mm — a capability that makes it well suited to the production of thick veneers, engineered timber sections, and hardwood flooring components. Hydraulic blade tensioning ensures consistent blade tension throughout the working cycle, reducing blade deflection and contributing to the accuracy of each cut. Pneumatic wheel braking brings the 800 mm wheels to a controlled stop quickly, supporting safe and efficient workflow. With an 800 mm wheel diameter, 780 mm cutting width, and 400 mm cutting depth, the machine accommodates substantial cross-sections whilst maintaining the fine blade geometry — 54 mm x 0.9 mm — required for clean, thin-kerf work. Applications: thick veneer cutting, engineered timber production, hardwood flooring component manufacture, precision ripping Key Features: — Minimum cut thickness of approximately 3 mm — enables production of thick veneers and fine timber sections not achievable on standard bandsaws — RTT motorised belt-feed unit, 300 mm high — maintains consistent material contact and feed pressure, reducing operator fatigue and improving cut repeatability — Variable feed speed, 0–30 m/min — allows feed rate to be matched precisely to timber species, density, and required cut quality — Hydraulic blade tensioning — maintains correct and consistent blade tension throughout operation, minimising blade deflection and improving cut accuracy — Pneumatic wheel braking — brings the machine to a controlled stop rapidly, improving workshop safety and reducing cycle time between cuts — 800 mm wheel diameter — accommodates the long blade path required for stable, smooth cutting of deep cross-sections — 780 mm cutting width — handles wide timber boards and engineered panels within a single pass — 400 mm cutting depth — suits thick or laminated timber sections typical in engineered flooring and structural component production — Blade specification 54 mm x 0.9 mm — thin-kerf geometry minimises material waste and reduces load on the 15 kW main motor — Six idle feed rollers at 160 mm diameter — supports the workpiece evenly along the feed path, preventing dipping or misalignment during the cut — Maximum fence-to-blade distance of 220 mm — provides sufficient ripping capacity for standard board widths used in flooring and joinery productionLead Time: 59 Days£ Enquire
