This Lukins lathe is similar to the Nero 4 Axis lathe with Auto tool changer, but also features a very high qaulity Tenon table.

The Schnitzer Lukens 4 Axis CNC Lathe brings speed and accuracy to the woodturning industry, the machine can be fitted with upto 4 working units (Spiral Milling Turret / V Knife Tool / Milling Head / Sanding Head) giving flexibilty depending on the requirements and the operator unrivaled control.

The machine is fitted with a Seimens control unit, main motors and switchgear, the working units air cooled which gives the machine a 24hr duty cycle and are controlled by ABSOLUTE encoder servo motors which reference the the working axis automatically giving trouble free set up and repetability.

The main body of the machine has a cast iron monoblock body giving the Lukens ultimate regidity and vibration free working which is escential for the fine tolerances demanded of the machine.
