The CMT 309 Series dowel drill is ground with negative spurs to produce clean, tear-free entry points in blind hole applications. Four spiral flutes provide efficient chip evacuation, reducing heat build-up and extending tool life across sustained production use. The 7.5 mm diameter, 70 mm length, and 10 mm shank suit standard dowelling heads and horizontal boring machines.

Applications: blind hole dowel drilling, solid wood machining, composite panel drilling, plastic drilling, laminated material drilling
